Do Yahweh and Satan have a "bromance" relationship?

I have been brought up in a Christian home. When I think of the Devil/Satan, I think of this evil creature that goes around trying to cause humans to turn away from God. This is the Devil’s purpose for being. So when I read in Job about God and the Devil’s little game they play it, is very confusing to me. God and the Devil have such a relationship that they talk and are close enough to have wagers?
I am referencing Job chapter 1 verses 6-12.Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. The LORD said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the LORD and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.” And the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?” Then Satan answered the LORD and said, “Does Job fear God for no reason? Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will curse you to your face.” And the LORD said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD”.
http://www.one-gospel.org/concepts/i_concepts_05.htm This website says that God is Satan. He is the only one who has control. It goes on to explain that if God is all know and all being, then He and no one else is responsible for what happened to Job. The author sites Bible references to support his idea. I do not believe Satan and God are one and the same. It is clearly discussed in the Book of Ezekiel 28:12 who Satan is; so the idea that they are the same being is nuts to me.
http://www.mindreality.com/truth-about-relationship-between-god-and-satan in this site the author defines the relationship of Yahweh and Satan more clearly. He states the two beings are like old enemies that know each other better than anyone else. I think this is a fair statement. Satan has been around to witness the beginning of time. God created him. God even favored him above the other angles.
If we are all made in God’s image, then of course we would have his personality traits as well. Most people are somewhat competitive in nature. Where did this trait come from? Did God really want to so Job off to Satan? Can it also be assumed that God would make his angles with the same personality traits? Angles have free will too. The Devil chose to rebel against God. In my mind God loved Satan just as He loves us. Satan is a fallen angel. I personally think God wants Satan to admit he was wrong. Do I think God would take him back? This is the theme of the Bible, so why not? Or does God like a little competitiveness and craziness in a not so perfect world?

Allusion #2 Katy Perry "Wide Awake"

Katy Perry has always been somewhat of a fascination to me ever since she started off her career with “I Kissed a Girl.” I tried very hard not to like her, but her message is powerful. She fights for the underdog, the nerds, and everyone matters. Her dad is a preacher and has been her whole life. She  tried to start her career off in Christian music, but just couldn’t become a break out star. She has a Jesus tattoo on her wrist, she says to remind her where she comes from. I do not think she gets the credit she deserves because of her outlandish costumes and lyrics.

My allusion comes from her song “Wide Awake.” I think the title is speaking about when Jesus healed the blind man in Mark 8. Mark 8:23-25, it states: “And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.” In the first couple of stanza she says: “Yeah, I was in the dark I was falling hard with an open heart I’m wide awake.” With Katy’s background having grown up in the Christian Faith, it is not hard to see that she would draw from Biblical events.

I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake

I'm wide awake
Yeah, I was in the dark
I was falling hard
With an open heart
I'm wide awake
How did I read the stars so wrong

I'm wide awake
And now it's clear to me
That everything you see
Ain't always what it seems
I'm wide awake
Yeah, I was dreaming for so long

After the chorus, Katy Perry is referring to Daniel and the Lion’s den. Daniel 6-16:24. She says “Outta the lion’s den I don’t have to pretend And it’s too late The story’s over now, the end.” I think she is trying to illustrate that after Daniel is pulled from the lion’s den that is the end of the story. Most people don’t remember what happened to Daniel’s accusers because humans are overjoyed with the miracle of God saving Daniel from the lions. I think it is her intention to say that we should focus on the positives in live rather than the negative.

I'm wide awake
Not losing any sleep
Picked up every piece
And landed on my feet
I'm wide awake
Need nothing to complete myself - nooohooo

I'm wide awake
Yeah, I am born again
Outta the lion's den
I don't have to pretend
And it's too late
The story's over now, the end

Thunder rumbling
Castles crumbling
I am trying to hold on
God knows that I tried
Seeing the bright side
But I'm not blind anymore...
I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake

Also in the video she eats from the tree of knowledge like Eve in Genesis. She is trapped by her sin but know she can see. By the end of the video she has returned to the Garden of Eden. Most of these Allusions the basic Christian could pick up on. These are stories that most people have grown up hearing their whole lives. I think Katy uses her lyrics to portray a message in every song. The basic message I get from her is everyone matters and it’s never too late to start over. Several of her songs indicate this same theme. This too speaks to her Christian background of Jesus’ salvation and our redemption. Katy Perry seems like the least likely Christian spokes person, but I think that is way she is so affective in reaching a new audience. She will be the first to admit she is not perfect but I truly believe she has an underlining message for all.

Where was David’s love for Tamar?

I can understand that Amnon was the first born. Amnon was the heir to be King. However what really makes me confused is 2 Samuel 13:21 “When King David heard of all these things, he became very angry, but he would not punish his son Amnon, because he loved him, for he was his firstborn.” Absalom was able to plot and plan the murder of his brother Amnon for two years. David never did anything. He could have said he was not going to be King for disgracing his sister. David could have had him killed for raping Tamar, but all he did was get mad. Where was David’s love for Tamar?
Jacob’s sons slaughtered a whole town when his daughter was raped. Jacob was not pleased with this, but didn’t do anything against it. The idea of protecting ones family (even their sisters and daughters not just sons) is prevalent in the Bible. Why does Amnon’s sin get swept under the rug because he is first born? Deuteronomy 22:28-29 says, “If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father.  Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.” David should have stepped up and made Amnon marry Tamar.

The http://www.womeninthebible.net/Tamar-Daughter-of-David.htm paints the picture of a heroic brother, Absalom avenging his sister Tamar. This website goes further with the story than my Bible described. It depicts a desperate brother, Absalom begging his father to make Amnon marry Tamar. Amnon refused. It is not hard for me to see why Absalom would rebel against David. David favored Amnon so much that he allowed Tamar’s life to be destroyed and Absalom lost all affection for his father.

David disregard for Tamar’s well-being lead to so many heartaches for him. Absalom killed David’s favored son, Amnon. Then Absalom forcefully overtook the kingdom from David. He raped David’s remaining wives publicly. David could have avoided this all by being a parent to Tamar and upholding God's law.
